Position Description

Field Engineer – Battery Energy Storage

Field Engineer is key technical member of the Service team that focuses delivering customer contracts in energy storage and renewable energy field. Field Engineer will be responsible for commissioning and de-commissioning of stationary energy storages and other equipment in renewable industry space. You will work as an individual or part of a bigger technical team to ensure equipment safety and functionality according to the design.

Responsibilities

– Onsite commissioning and acceptance testing of various electrical systems

– Battery systems (BMS, modules) o LV distribution systems o Power supplies and UPS

– Relays, switches, sensors o PLCs and fire detection systems o Communication systems

– Execution of commissioning plans

– Prepare progress reports and failure diagnostics

– Provide technical subject matter expertise

– Safeguard industry best practices on safety

Requirements

– 1-3 years relevant experience in renewable industry; commissioning technician / field engineer or similar.

– Experience of large-scale BESS, PV or other electrical systems

– Ability to travel 50-75% of time, occasionally on short notice

– Ability to resolve complex technical issues
